HSUS Animal Cruelty Investigation Reveals PetLand Selling Puppy Mill Dogs

I know I'm just a dog, but dogs are smarter than you think we are. Not only are we smarter, but we can smell a fish from Hollywood all the way to Ohio where you are. We dogs can actually feel things you can't feel---empathy for the millions of dogs in imprisoned puppy mills and shelters around our nation.
You've got a lot of nerve selling factory pets when five million companion animals are euthed every year in the shelter system. All of the pets you sell are made like machine parts. These pets live out their sad lives confined to cages and will never know what it's like to be loved. You've got some nerve thinking it's OK to hide behind your USDA minimum standards of care baloney.
Dogs only get 6 inches in front of their face for LIFE in your USDA breeding facilities. You think that's humane? There's a reason why all your stores are being picketed. There's a right and a wrong here and you are on the wrong side of this moral issue, demonstrating your priority of greed before the welfare of the animals you sell.

I'm no psychologist, Jinky, but I think we can agree that if you look up the definition of sociopath it would say "See O.J.'s defense team and Elizabeth Kunzelman."
TO THE PETLAND PEOPLE:
If this is so then DEMAND that your breeders be open to unannounced inspections by local media allowing them unfettered access to everything on their property that in any way has anything to do with their dogs except the personal residence and family of the breeder should there be a few dogs (under 10) in the home. Access to the home without cameras must be allowed to the media to ascertain that there are no more than 10 dogs there. If so, cameras must be allowed.

I haven't seen a bigger load of poop since...um, well, actually, I don't think my two 70 pound dogs together are capable of producing a load of poop as big as the one in PetLands "response."
Substandard breeders are the problem? No, the problem is that the only breeders who would sell through pet stores are substandard.

I've been dealing with the issue of horse slaughter for years. I see the good ol USDA is still having the same problem with truth, character and integrity.
Seems they only use those qualities when it's convenient.

You only appear more heartless and greedy by releasing this video...did you really think the MILLIONS of us Animal Lovers would believe that crock you're trying to feed us! ...must be wishful thinking on your part in hopes that we were that stupid! We've seen it before and we won't stop until you stop supporting the torture and cruelty of helpless animals! Notice they don't say anything about the Humane Society of the U.S. in their this silly rebuttal. Jinky, I hate to admit it but I once paid $3500 for a beautiful German Shepherd Dog (not from Petland). Imagine my horror when I went to a German Shepherd rescue and saw 150+ gorgeous dogs, just like mine, who were homeless. I was ashamed. Petland sells puppies because uninformed people buy them. Once everyone is informed about the orphan dogs out there that are fantastic and in desperate need of a home, the market will force these jerks to stop selling your relatives.
